Sending items off is just useless. After purchasing a top from Karen Millen, I thought I'd sell some of my own clothes and requested two bags to fill up. Recycling is definitely on my mind, and I was into Loopsters concept.

I shipped my bag and got an email confirming they received it, mentioning it would take about 2-3 weeks before I’d see any cash. Three weeks passed, and they informed me of a backlog. I figured that was okay, but then I got another email saying they couldn’t handle it and would be sending my parcel back.

Honestly, it feels a bit pointless. The clothes I sent were in excellent shape, but it seems they’re overwhelmed with items. I didn’t do this for the money anyway; I’ll just donate them to charity instead, which is a much better option.

I've shopped with Loopster a bunch of times, and I'm really pleased with both the clothing and the service. My two daughters, who are in college and university, are big fans of second-hand fashion. I've snagged some fantastic brands at great prices for them, and they absolutely adore them. Plus, it's a nice way to help the environment, so what's not to love?

I've used Loopster a bunch of times for both offloading my kids' clothes and my own old stuff. The selling part is super straightforward, and I'm quite satisfied with the offers I've gotten. Sure, some folks say the offers are on the low side, but I see it differently. Generally, I end up with about what I'd get selling everything as a bundle, and it’s way less hassle and time-consuming than trying to sell each piece on other platforms. Plus, if something gets 'rejected,' it still goes to a good cause. On the buying side, I've been happy with the quality of the clothes I've snagged. They’ve all arrived clean, nicely packaged, and with plenty of life left in them. I really like supporting a slow fashion retailer and getting good brands at a decent price. The only tiny annoyance is that it can take a few weeks for a bag to get processed and for an offer to come through, but given how busy they are, I totally get it.

Got a whole load of clothes and they were in great shape, with a few that looked brand new (I see your responses, by the way!). But the offer was just ridiculous! It's crazy how low they went for £100 worth of clothing.

A while ago, I picked up a few dresses and some clothes for kids. Honestly, most of 'em turned out to be way worse than I thought they'd be, and the colors were totally off from what I saw online (like, the blue on the website was more of a nasty green). One of the designer dresses was in terrible shape and way too pricey. The clothes didn’t even seem to be washed, let alone sanitized; they had traces of deodorant and a funky smell. It was a really disappointing experience, and I won’t be shopping at Loopster again. Just steer clear.

I just got the stuff I ordered for my daughter at a much lower cost than I normally spend. The condition is fantastic. Big thanks to Loopster!
